Judd Apatow’s Resume Belongs in a Museum

Judd Apatow is one of the most incredible, comedic geniuses of all time.  His resume honestly belongs next to the Mona Lisa.  It is truly something else. I always knew he was involved in a lot of great comedies but I did not know it was to this extent.

Take a look at all the movies he has been involved with throughout his career:

I mean this is truly the most impressive resume I have ever seen in my entire life.  I knew he was involved with 40 Year Old Virgin and pretty much everything this era of comedians were involved in.  What stood out most to me is the amount of early comedies he had a part in.  The comedies that have shaped this generation, Judd Apatow also created.  It truly blows my mind.

Another part that gets overlooked often is how many great, different talents he has worked with throughout his career.  These actors were at the top of their game when he worked with them.  I don’t know if you guys know but actors tend to have a little bit of an ego.  They usually fall under the category of diva.  He was able to work with Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, Jim Carrey, Will Ferrell, Steve Carell, Jonah Hill, Paul Rudd, Seth Rogen, and many more.  He worked with most of these comedians throughout multiple films. On top of making people laugh himself, he was able to manage some of the most difficult people on this planet.

Judd Apatow gets a lot of credit for his work but I don’t think his entire body of work gets the true shine it deserves. I truly believe comedy movies have suffered a lot since Judd has scaled down the amount of work he does. Hey Judd, this is me attempting to give you what you deserve.  Hopefully a blog post on a up and coming blog is just what your career needed to take it to the next level.
